German and Clemens Architecture PC is a commercial/industrial architecture firm based in Ronkonkoma, New York. Our company was originally founded in 1981 by Gary J. Bruno and was transferred to James German and Joe Clemens in 2017 after they had each worked for the company for more than 10 years each. We provide building design services for office buildings, industrial parks, warehouses, and more. We also provide interior alteration design services. Our services cater to new constructions as well as renovations/expansions. Our team has the expertise necessary to give your business an ideal space to succeed. Mr. James L. German, A.I.A.
Principle
James L. German graduated from Farmingdale State College in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology. James had worked as a drafter for 3 years in a drafting company prior to working at his former employer, Gary J. Bruno, Architect P.C., where he had been a Project Manager for approximately 13 years. James had successfully passed his Architectural Licensing exams and had received his Architectural License in April of 2016.
James, a member of the American Institute of Architects, is also an active member within the Architectural community as he volunteers his time to review student projects at local colleges of Architecture and Engineering, such as his alma mater Farmingdale State College of New York. He also attends continuing education courses to stay apprised of the trending advancements within the Architectural and Engineering field. This is something German & Clemens Architecture, PC feels is necessary, as the industry is constantly evolving. Architectural design trends, energy efficient architecture, and code updates are areas which continue to make advancements every day.
It is our goal to stay up to date with these demands and maintain a leadership position when it comes to our knowledge of the subject matter. We plan to expand our efforts and knowledge so that we can continue to create and offer innovative design techniques as necessary to our clients and projects; ones which will meet the varying requirements of the environmentally sustainable world which we find ourselves practicing in today.
Mr. Joseph M. Clemens, A.I.A.
Principle
Joseph M. Clemens graduated from Farmingdale State College in 2008, receiving a Dual Bachelors of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology, as well as Construction Management Engineering Technology. While attending Farmingdale State, Joseph was Vice President of the Student club – Architecture and Construction Technology (ACT) Club. Joseph also won the Outstanding Academic Excellence Award in Construction Management Engineering Technology, as well as the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) Capstone Project Scholarship award. Joseph concurrently began working with Gary J. Bruno, Architect P.C. in 2007 as a draftsman and elevated his status to Project Manager. Within that time, Joseph had worked on a multitude of projects, ranging from New Construction to Interior Alterations, as well as Site Engineering and so on. Joseph has also successfully passed his Architectural Licensing exams and had received his Architectural License in November of 2015. Joseph is currently proud to be part of the American Institute of Architects and is also an active member within the Architectural community as he volunteers his time to review student projects at local colleges of Architecture and Engineering, such as his alma mater Farmingdale State College of New York.
